PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Become1 is a German startup aimed at employers, providing solutions for management, budgeting, organization, and automation of tax-subsidized employee benefits. The product is mainly directed at the German market with a goal to include the overall European market.

STACK : NodeJS / NestJS, ReactJS, Google Cloud;

STAGE : early-stage startup;

TEAM : The team consists of 17 people based in Germany, 6 in the technical team including CTO;

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design;
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a SaaS environment;
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development principles;
• Good level of English and German (MUST HAVE);
• Strong communication skills;
• Self-motivated and structured work approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams : Work closely with customers, POs, stakeholders, and the development team to gather and understand user requirements, translating them into effective UI/UX designs;
• Lead design improvements: Take charge of improving the user experience and interface of our SaaS platform, ensuring it is intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing;
• Mentor junior designers: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring design consistency across the platform;
• Conduct user research and testing: Perform user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback and use this information to inform and iterate on design solutions;
• Create design deliverables: Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and solutions;
• Ensure design consistency: Establish and maintain design guidelines and best practices to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience across the platform;
• Collaborate on product strategy: Participate in product strategy discussions, providing insights and recommendations based on user-centered design principles and best practices;
• Stay updated with design trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into your design process where applicable;
• Facilitate design reviews: Lead design review sessions with stakeholders and the development team, presenting your designs and incorporating feedback to refine and improve the user experience.
