The CHI Software team is not standing still. We love our job and give it one hundred percent of us! Every new project is a challenge that we face successfully. The only thing that can stop us is... Wait, it’s nothing! The number of projects is growing, and with them, our team too. And now we need a  Senior Product Owner.

About project:

The project revolves around E-Learning, focusing on creating a platform for educators in the U.S. market.

The team works in our Data world, but I did get some more clarity specifically on what they work on. This team is not working in the data itself but more making BI reports available in our products, allowing users to subscribe to reports, embedding those within other products and some of the features around those reports e.g. Notifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with the company’s strategic goals and the needs of our education clients.
• Balancing the data needs of multiple products, stakeholders, and business units across the company
• Create detailed product requirements, user stories, scope definition, and acceptance criteria for development teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals
• Collaborate with Product Management, engineering and UX to deliver high-quality educational technology products on time and within budget.
• Ensure the final product meets quality standards and aligns with the defined product vision, making necessary adjustments as needed.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the technology industry.
• Experience in defining and creating requirements for data and data visualization.
• Ability to query data in SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other query language is a plus.
• Experience with statistics, data science, machine learning or artificial intelligence is a plus.
• Ability to be self-directed and drive work on enterprise data without day-to-day supervision.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate and convey product vision and requirements.
• Data-driven decision-making skills, using analytics and user feedback to drive product improvements.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
