To thrive in this role, we’re seeking candidates with a minimum of 5+ years of Power BI experience. Your proficiency in Power Platform will be highly advantageous in this role.

We have 2 projects:
Short term: A US healthcare company in the clinical trial area has already developed a portal with Power BI usage and requires help in setting up new reports and rebuilding existing ones to better meet clients’ constant needs. The project is estimated to take 3 months and involves part-time involvement.
Another project is for an enterprise company in the media and ads sphere. They position themselves as one of the biggest providers of ads placements in the US. They are starting the reporting initiative and are willing to make a POC for one of the departments that may grow to a bigger teams and involvement. It is a part-time involvement, working directly with head of innovations, discussing and suggesting options in order to get the best result.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience in developing Power BI reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power BI Service.
• Experience in using external Power BI tools such as Tabular Editor and DAX Studio.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data transformation.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and principles.
• Experience in working in teams using CICD and multiple development environments.
• Experience in setting standards surrounding the use of data to create business intelligence that leads to insight, decision making and action.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in collaborating with senior business leaders and functional/regional heads to translate business requirements into tangible data solutions.
• An understanding of SQL/database management.
• Power platform development experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain reports in Power BI.
• Ensure data requirements are clearly and consistently defined and understood and the process for doing so is consistent with other business requirements.
• Identify the relevant business processes and associated data sources relevant for meeting data requirements and work with the BI team and Lead Data Engineer to ensure organisational discipline around data capture.
• Ensure that KPIs (Data Points) and reports are well documented and understood by the wider business.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency through QA and UAT on reports and models developed by third parties.
• Make sure that requirements are clarified and clear for all stakeholders even before the implementation

Team: 1 Team Lead, 2 Senior .NET Full Stack dev, 1 Middle+ .NET Full stack devs, 1PM, 2QAs.  

Schedule: 5/2, 4 hours a day (Part-time), with the potential to become full-time in the future, flexible schedule.
