Senior PHP Developer for in-app advertising monetization platform in MoveUp Recruitment agency

One of our portfolio companies operating in the advertising sector goes beyond being just an app monetization platform. Our goal is to create superior advertising solutions that yield better outcomes, higher CPMs, and maintain excellent in-app user experiences.

We are currently seeking a Senior PHP Developer who possesses a deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and a proven track record of building products from inception. This position requires someone who thrives in a collaborative team environment while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing high-load projects using PHP (excluding Drupal, WordPress, etc.), accompanied by at least 2 years of JavaScript development experience.

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for managing high-load projects alongside a dedicated team of developers. We are looking for individuals with a solid background in low-latency/high-load environments and a thorough understanding of performance optimization techniques, especially related to PHP services, document-oriented databases, and time-series databases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain the platform using PHP 8.x

- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality, scalable digital products

- Apply industry best practices and design patterns to ensure top-tier code quality and maintainability

- Optimize system performance in high-load environments to address potential bottlenecks

- Provide mentorship to junior developers and assist with complex technical challenges

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of platform app development experience using PHP

- At least 2 years of experience in JavaScript development

- Deep knowledge of MongoDB or ClickHouse

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles

- Proven track record of building products from scratch

- Proficiency in developing in low-latency/high-load environments

- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vanilla JS, React JS, Angular JS, Vue JS is advantageous
