FAVBET Tech develops software that is used by millions of players around the world for the international company FAVBET Entertainment.
We develop innovations in the field of gambling and betting through a complex multi-component platform which is capable to withstand enormous loads and provide a unique experience for players.
FAVBET Tech does not organize and conduct gambling on its platform. Its main focus is software development.

About the project:

We are developing an important service to replace one of the parts of the previous application. The first parts of the service are already connected to the business and are an integral part of the whole business process.
The service will be a fundamental part of the future of the whole Favbet. Between the services and the services themselves have a complex branching architecture.

The service is high-load so the goal of the team is to develop stable and resource-efficient solutions. Also a large number of links with other services gives a lot of interesting tasks on the architecture of the application. Working in our team will give you a lot of tasks to create components of the service and customize the interaction between them.

We are in search of an experienced developer with 5+ years of development experience. Experience creating new and refactoring old application class architecture solutions, ability to build a simple maintainable architecture is important. Experience with high-load or skills and knowledge in writing resource-efficient components is desirable.

We use PHP8, Laravel, PostgresSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ (high load), Docker, gitlab, Newrelic, ELK Stack.

Responsibilities:

• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules;
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges;
• Actively participate in quality assurance activities including design and code reviews, unit testing, defect fixes, operational readiness;
• Experience in software development based on common agile application development methodologies, TDD/Scrum;
• Familiarity with source control (Git), bug tracking systems (JIRA), build and dependency management systems (Composer), continuous integration (GitLab), packaging and deployment (Docker).

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in development of production applications using PHP and PostgreSQL;
• Experience of redesigning the architecture of the application classes. Ability to build a clean transparent architecture. (Breaking down the application into components, UML class diagrams, refactoring, patterns);
• Knowledge of DDD is a big plus;
• Strong knowledge of Laravel, understanding the weak and strong sides of the frameworkd;
• Ability to write code that uses resources efficiently;
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system;
• Excellent relational database skills with PostgreSQL;
• Experience with building restful JSON web services;
