Job Description

To accommodate the technology requirements for our fast-paced industry, we are looking for a superstar PHP experienced developer with a proven track record to join our team and take a leading role in the design & implementation of various features.  We work in legacy code.

More than a developer, we’re looking for an individual motivated to work in a challenging technical environment and who likes to take ownership of tasks/projects. You need to be curious, passionate about what you do and eager to learn and to have initiative to make things better.

Additional Information

How we work - remote/hybrid work:

• Employees up to 50 km from the office (Katowice) - 4 times a month
• Employees from 50 to 100 km from the office - 2 times a month
• Employees over 100 km - remote work

Must have

• 5+ years of experience in PHP (we work on versions of 7,8.0) web programming.
• Experience with the popular frameworks, mainly Laravel (we work on versions of 6,7,8).
• Experience with distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with MYSQL database (query building and database optimization).
• Proven experience defining a development project from conception to implementation.
• High level of English is a must.

Highly desirable

• Experience working with Docker.
• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, GCP.
• Familiarity with unit testing.
• Familiarity with different work spaces such as Linux and Ubuntu.

Advantage

• Experience working in the vicinity of Micro-Services and Dockers.
• Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, GCP.
• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Working experience with query building, index optimization and database.
