You’ll become apart ofacross-functional development team working for aSwedish company based inMalta which offers casino games, slots, online card games, poker, blackjack, sports betting, online bingo and other online games toits clients, while also protecting them. Responsibilities: Conduct analysis ofwebsite and application requirements Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges Troubleshoot application and code issues Integration ofdata storage solutions which may include databases, key-value stores, orothers Finalize back-end features and testing web applications Update and altering application features toenhance performance including legacy code Help track requests, issues, work progress and any other changes Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables Coach and mentor other developers whilst performing code reviews Requirements: Experience insoftware development for more than 5years Excellent knowledge inComputer Science, Computing Theory: Paradigm &Principles (OOP, SOLID) Database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL) Code testing practices Algorithms &data structures Architectural, Enterprise and Design Patterns Security patterns, Reverse engineering resistance, Common attacks types (OWASP) Understanding ofnetwork interactions: Protocols &conventions (e.g. REST, RPC) authentication and authorization flows standards and practices (e.g. oAuth, JWT) Excellent knowledge and experience inPHP (more than 4years) Practical commercial experience with: REST API development Web application frameworks (e.g. Symfony, Laravel) (more than 4years) Front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5 Testing frameworks (e.g. PHPUnit, Codeception, Behat, Dusk) (more than 4years) ORM (e.g. Doctrine, Eloquent) (more than 3years) RDBMS (e.g MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) (more than 4years) Key-value storages (e.g. Redis, Memcached) Version control systems (GIT) Cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure) Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Gitlab Pipeline, Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo) Experience with: Troubleshooting, profiling and debugging applications Agile software processes and technologies Code Review process Refactoring process Fluent orUpper-Intermediate English Desirable: Certifications on: Symfony Framework Zend PHP Understanding oforchestration and containerisation (e.g. Kubernetes, Swarm) Practical commercial experience with: GraphQL NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB, ElasticSearch,CouchDB) What`s initfor you?
