This initiative aims to leverage the full potential of AWS services to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency across their media supply chain operations.As a Senior Node.js Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in this transition, working on cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with a talented team to redefine the media supply chain landscape.The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine. Responsibilities Build User Management API:Manage users, roles, and permissionsIntegrate Cognito with Okta for JWT tokensReplace Okta tokens with Cognito tokens for API usersBuild Asset Management API:Manage assets in MAM with CRUD operations and access policiesDevelop a complex metadata system for Users, Assets, and Collections, supporting schema validation, hierarchy, and access policiesImplement import/ingestion for media assets (video files), storing in S3, generating metadata, transcoding, and orchestrating workflows with Step FunctionsBuild Message Bus:Use EventBridge, SQS, and SNS to emit changes and create priority queuing for bulk uploadsDevelop in-depth monitoring and alerting using CloudTrail and CloudWatchRequirements3+ years of proven experience as a Node.js Engineer with a strong portfolio of successful projectsAWS Lambda Proficiency: Experience in or capability to learn and build services using AWS LambdaCore AWS Services: Ability to work with key AWS services, including API Gateway, Cognito, IAM, S3, and CloudWatchScalability and Performance: Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance applicationsUpper-intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B2+)Nice to haveAdvanced AWS Services: Familiarity with AWS Aurora, OpenSearch, EventBridge, SNS, SQS, CloudTrail, Datadog, Athena, and Kinesis ServicesIndustry Experience: Previous experience in the media or entertainment industry, particularly in building metadata systems or similar applicationsWe OfferCompetitive compensation depending on experience and skillsIndividual career pathUnlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutionsSick leave and regular vacationEnglish classes with certified English teachersFlexible work hoursAbout EPAMEPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
