Senior Node.js Engineer in N-iX

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Engineer to join our team!

Our client is a rapidly growing AI startup providing an innovative B2B SaaS solution. Our software monitors and analyses thousands of legal documents, from various sources, in real-time, to help financial companies keep up with regulatory changes and updates. The product handles massive amounts of information, making it suitable for streamlining regulatory-based decision-making.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and debugging modern, cloud-based, web applications, and translating users' and business needs into functional code. In particular, they will be producing high-quality and reusable code to improve the backend of our products continuously. Our APIs are based on GraphQL and hosted on AWS (serverless).

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on a specific project that is crucial for the Client's goals, with the opportunity to switch teams and tasks as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. As we continue to push technology forward, we need our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic about taking on new problems across the full stack.

Technical stack: Backend - Node.js 16 (updating to LTS), Python (Python is optional, but all Lambdas that process documents use it), GraphQL (AppSync), GitLab CI; Frontend - Angular 17, DDD, Cypress for E2E, no Unit tests, Nx; AWS - Lambda (Node.js, Python), Cognito, DynamoDB + ArangoDB, S3, OpenSearch, Batch.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development with Node.js
• 5+ years of experience in the field of software engineering (i.e. working with data structures, algorithms, and software design)
• Experience with concepts in computer architecture and Linux system programming
• Experience with GraphQL, AWS services
• At least Upper-Intermediate English level
• Experience with Machine Learning technologies is a plus
