Senior .NET Engineer in Avenga

Avenga is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer in Europe for our American project. Our customer is an online enterprise-grade food ordering platform used by many of the US’s largest restaurant chains and millions of users. You will contribute to the implementation of large, strategic, and complex components and services, including solution design and reliability concerns. Our tech stack is rooted in .NET (C#) and SQL Server running in AWS infrastructure and modern software engineering tools such as GitHub, TeamCity, Octopus, Kubernetes, Datadog, and Sumo Logic.ResponsibilitiesWrite clean, maintainable, test-covered code and work with our product team to create great products for our customers;Release and proactive monitoring of components in production;Work with SQL databases to design and optimize database schemas, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity;Analyze and solve technical problems that arise during the development process;Work with our product and design team to understand the needs of our customers that will shape the technology solutions;Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and identify potential improvements;Expand the system without losing support for existing features;Demonstrate broad and deep knowledge of software engineering concepts;Participate in development streams for re-architecture and refactoring activities.Qualifications5+ years of commercial experience with .NET (Framework 4.7, 6.0);Excellent in building and contributing to APIs;Skilled in integrating with third-party APIs;Proficient inMSSQL, PostgreSQL (or similar relational database tooling);Experience working with Amazon Web Services (or similar cloud-based technology platforms);Willingness to work independently or pair directly with team members;English – Upper-Intermediate or higher.
