Senior/Middle Quantitative Researcher in Sense Research

My name is Svitlana Bolman, and in September of last year I founded the research agency Sense Research. It seemed a logical extension of my 10 years of experience in research and a one-year research management contract at WHO, as well as the volume of orders that could not be handled with contractors alone. Without a team that shares my values, it is impossible to move forward. I wanted to do what I love the most - socially responsible and socially significant research, and not research how to better drag people into gambling or how to advertise tobacco to circumvent legislative updates. I am in favor of working on human terms: from home, not from the office; in a flexible schedule, not in an irregular one; on value, not on illusory success.

Qualification requirements:

1. Knowledge of the basics of statistical processing and skills in specialized software (R - mandatory, SPSS, Jamovi, Stata - may be useful)
2. Knowledge of the basics of data management, skills of creating, cleaning and processing datasets
3. Knowledge of the principles of building a toolkit for quantitative research
4. Experience in planning and conducting research from a client request to the preparation of a report

Basic requirements:

1. Digital competence, namely, advanced skills in working in programs Excel, Word, Power Point

2. Language competence, namely, fluency in the Ukrainian language, the ability to write competently, the level of English - B1+. The work will involve correspondence and reporting in English.

3. Developed logical thinking, the ability to see the result of the tasks set

Higher education (available or in the process of obtaining) in the field of management, social sciences, life sciences, medical direction (sociology, psychology, biology, data analysis, etc.)

Main duties:

1. Development of the work system with quantitative research in the company
2. Planning of work (own and team) on projects with a quantitative component
3. Development of quantitative research design, sample calculation
4. Creating toolkit
5. Creation of statistical and analytical plans, data cleaning plans
6. Data management: creation, cleaning and processing of data arrays, including data encoding, import into statistical software
7. Statistical data processing: descriptive (univariate, bivariate) and inferential statistics (comparative analysis, correlation, etc.)
8. Preparation of reports, interpretation of results, assistance in creating visual design
9. Training and supervision of work by a team of less experienced analysts
