Requirements:

Required skills:

• 5 and more years With development experience in residential gateway development / embedded Linux
• Linux system programming expertise
• Linux driver development for embedded systems
• Toolchains, crosscompiling, ARM architecture
• Experience with BSP, bootloaders (u-boot), security, GPIO, eMMC / NAND bring up, filesystems, flash layout configuration
• Expertise in Wi-Fi (bringup, configuration, debugging, certification)
• Knowledge in networking, IP protocols, hardware subsystems
• Experience in trouble-shooting embedded systems
• Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Good English communication, Team player
• Self-motivated and passionate about your work and embedded systems

Nice to have:

• Open source software contributions
• Experience with OpenWrt / PrplOS / RDK
• Experience in working in real-time operating systems

Responsibilities:

Software Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Initial HW bring up (Routers, Wi-Fi extenders)
• Porting BSP to PrplOS/OpenWrt build system
• HW basic/initial quality control and testing (ensure all modules like Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi, GPON, LEDs, buttons, etc work as expected from software side)
• Improve the system’s efficiency, stability and security
• Collaborate with customers to create systems based on their needs
• Work with the hardware and software teams
