Senior/Lead WordPress Developer віддалено What You Will Do ● Work closely with our internal team and external partners toensure seamless migrations toWordPress; ● Lead the development and implementation ofnew features for our WordPress platform aspart ofour post-launch roadmap; ● Help guide the platform architecture and enforce best practices; ● Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects ofthe CMS; ● Provide feedback and recommendations tothe team; ● Provide technical guidance and mentorship toour internal engineering teams, helping toupskill them inWordPress development. Must Haves ●4-6+ years ofprofessional experience insimilar roles; ● Deep understanding ofWordPress and PHP fundamentals with astrong portfolio ofprojects; ● Excellent problem-solving skills, ability toprioritize multiple tasks, and commitment tohigh-quality development standards; ● Knowledge ofhow tointeract with WordPress RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML); ● Familiarity with modern JavaScript (ie. ESNext and JSX) and experience building custom blocks for the Block ● Editor utilizing block.json and React; ● Prior experience supporting high-traffic enterprise websites; ● Experience fine-tuning application performance; ● Comfortable working with alocal development environment.ie. debugging, testing; ● Proficient understanding ofcode versioning tools. (Weuse Github); ● Upper-intermediate English level. Nive ToHaves ● Experience working with WordPress VIP hosting infrastructure; ● Experience with decoupled orheadless WordPress implementations using RESTful orGraphQLAPIs; ● Experience with GraphQL and advanced API development practices; ● Proficient infront-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js; ● Understanding ofmodern deployment practices using CI/CDpipelines; ● Understanding ofAWS cloud services; ● Leadership/mentoring experience; ● Active inthe WordPress community (ie. contributions toopen source projects, events, etc); ● Digital media experience.
