Senior Kotlin Engineer for OLX P&S in Rebbix

We are looking for an experienced Senior Kotlin Backend Engineer to join the growing marketplace product.

Project Description

Our team is helping OLX Ukraine to develop, support, and maintain a critical part of the platform and app functionality. We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer who is willing to participate in all stages of product development from ideation to development to maintenance and support. You can expect a great deal of involvement and cooperation with product, engineering, design, and other departments within the local team, the OLX team in Ukraine as well as OLX tech teams around the world.

Requirements

Must have

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, experience with Python would be a plus.
• Experience with DBs (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure tools like Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab.
• Experience in developing and designing scalable systems
• At least Intermediate level of English

Nice to have

• Experience with PHP (legacy modernization)
• Basic Linux system administration
• Understanding of domain driven design
• Testing and monitoring experience
  
  

Responsibilities

• Designing and building new microservices
• Designing a system adaptable to diverse needs through collaboration with different teams
• Taking active part in short and long term planning
• Working closely with product manager and other developers
• Participating in features design and development from idea to roll-out
