Senior Java/Kotlin engineer in Telenor Linx Polska

You will: 

• Be part of a distributed, multicultural, and agile tech/product team located in Oslo, Kraków, and Trondheim
• Join the growing Telenor Linx technical team (currently 38 engineers)
• Work on building digital platforms with high usage of telecommunications APIs (Voice, Messaging, B2B, Telco sales platforms)
• Design new back-end features and extend existing ones using Kotlin and Java
• Utilize modern technical tools mainly from within the AWS suite, built with Terraform and Terragrunt
• Cultivate the best coding practices and collaborate with experienced senior engineers
• Deploy services using CI/CD practices exclusively
• Cooperate with surrounding Telenor Linx product teams like Identity, Data, E-commerce, Voice, Messaging
• Travel to Norway for business trips

• Excellence with Kotlin and Java programming languages
• Availability to drive and oversee software development initiatives
• Passion for software development and openness to other programming languages (Go, Python, Rust)
• Knowledge of REST and protocol, API design, and API security
• Knowledge of SQL and database servers such as MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Understanding of web security concepts and the OAuth2 standard
• Familiarity with Docker, AWS at any level, and Kubernetes at any level
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code and GitOps concepts
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts
• Excellent written and spoken English (we communicate with our colleagues from all over the world)
• Availability to work from our office in Kraków if needed
