Senior Java Developer with Market Data & Capital markets віддалено Project Description: Building atrading platform for innovative international top-tier hedge fund from the groundup, comprising offront-office system for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, intra-day positions management, order management and routing, risks and limits management, reports oftrading activities, FIXconnectivity, market data providers connectivity (e.g. Bloomberg B-pipe). Responsibilities: Partner with the firm’s investment and trading teams totranslate their requirements into technology solutions— building tools, models, analytical libraries, and processes tofacilitate their research, trading and analysis. Collaborate with the broader technology team todevelop aunified, scalable platform for harnessing real-time and historical market data and analytics. Work asafull-stack technologist, build front-to-back solutions that leverage the firm’s data platforms, microservices architecture, UIframeworks, and DevOps toolchain. The person will bededicated tomarket data soit’s critical that heorshe already knows this domain byhaving experience indeveloping application subscribing tomarket data. Understand constraint tosupport market data across multiple regions such asEMEA ,Americas, AsiaPac Mandatory Skills Description : Bachelors orMasters degree from awell-regarded CS, Math, Physics orFinance program Experience inHedge Fund orBroker companies Strong Java skills— Spring Boot, REST, JDBC, Multi-threading, memory management Experience working with streaming data using Kafka orother messaging queue platforms. Basic database and SQL skills— Ability tounderstand and write complex SQL, MySQL, MEMSQL/ Singlestore database experience isaplus Understanding ofData Structures/Algorithms and enthusiasm for programming Experience working with large and complex data sets Linux/Docker skills Experience with AWS CI/CD Nice-to-Have Skills: Professional experience with investment banking, trading, equity trading platforms orany other financial products. Experience with FIX protocol and any FIX Engine (Quickfix, Appia etc.) abig plus. Experience inPython isaplus Experience with BPIPE API from Bloomberg Experience with JS/TypeScript Can work independently and inacollaborative environment.
