Senior Java Developer in LoopMe

LoopMe, the leading outcomes-based platform, closes the loop on digital advertising. By leveraging AI to optimise media delivery in real-time, we drive measurable uplift for business outcomes and more effective advertising across online and offline marketing goals, including brand lift, purchase intent, consideration, foot traffic and sales. At LoopMe, we work in a highly agile development environment, developing software tools used by international clients in all parts of the world. A team of 75+ engineers build and maintains real-time bidding platforms for advertisers globally. We have built multiple advertising platforms each with its user interfaces that are offered to clients globally on a self-serve basis. What we need: We are currently seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join a highly skilled and collaborative team of 5 engineers (frontend, backend, qa), spread between Poland and Ukraine. The team is responsible for building out our next-generation GraphQL backend (which is currently in Java and Node.js) and creating the UI of our Dashboards - using Angular 16. What you'll be doing: Developing components of Java-based services composing system our team is responsible for Working with relational and NoSQL DBs while changing existing and/or implementing new features Refactoring existing code to improve system performance Writing both unit and component tests for the system components you'll be working on You'll have: Java backend development experience Knowledge of Spring, SpringBoot, PostgreSQL Experience with Git Experience with REST (GraphQL is a plus) and microservices architecture A proactive attitude towards improving processes and finding new solutions to challenging business problems Strong self-motivation; you'll be a reliable and flexible team player High attention to detail and the ability to work in agile environment Benefits: Competitive compensation package International work environment Flexible working schedule and the hybrid type of work Annual performance bonus (up to 10%) One month of workation (you can work from any part of the world for one month) English classes Maternity/Paternity leave
