Senior Java Developer віддалено We’re opening the position ofaSenior Java Developer tojoin anexisting team working onour Customer’s project. Our Customer provides SaaS solutions that assist companies inoptimizing their businesses. These solutions encompass business planning and execution, process automation, and optimization. The Customer’s platform utilizes industry-leading artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for enhanced predictive capabilities and proactive disruption prevention across various businesses. The objective ofthe project istoestablish aset ofstandardized APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) based onthe logical data model for consumers. These APIs will facilitate seamless integration, data access, and interoperability with external systems and applications. Responsibilities: Develop the back-end infrastructure and codebase toimplement the defined APIs based onthe logical data model Implement data access and manipulation operations (e.g. CRUDoperations) for each data entity exposed bythe APIs Ensure adherence tothe industry best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines during API development Lead byexample inall aspects ofsoftware development raising the bar for the entire team Conduct effective peer review, especially tomore junior developers totest new features and functionality Coach and mentor teammates Beproactive, creative, and initiative-driven Influence others asatechnical leader Work closely with other technical team members within the development organizations asapart ofcross-functional collaboration Give clear instructions and constructive feedback tothe technical team Influence technical decisions that have asignificant impact onthe final product Align customer strategy with avision for the final product, technical decisions, quality, and performance Independently plan and execute assigned stories/tasks/spikes and complete them ontime Demonstrate anindependent understanding ofproject schedule, resource constraints, and cross-team impact Make tactical decisions topay down technical debt and constantly improve the codebase Solve complex and diverse problems; implement important technical solutions Participate inthe design and delivery ofsolutions Advise group onresource, architectural trade-offs and pros &cons tomeet the core business objectives Innovate the implementation ofprocedural/systems solutions toimprove quality Requirements: 5+years ofhands-on experience working incore Java and advanced Java software development 2+years inSenior position onthe project Strong knowledge ofJava SEupto17 Strong knowledge ofdesign patterns, SOLID, DRY, SQL, Spring Boot, Micro Services Strong knowledge ofJUnit and Mockito In-depth understanding ofSoftware Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Ability tounderstand the scalability, availability, and maintainability offeatures and products Ability tocontribute into several complex projects/streams ofwork simultaneously Ability todoscope decomposition— define tasks/stories for scope segments ofthe project Ability tosize and estimate timelines for multiple tasks/stories and/or projects Demonstrated ability inusing various test automation tools and frameworks English level— Upper-Intermediate orhigher Will beaplus: Experience with Snowflake Knowledge ofTestNG, JMeter, and Azure Weoffer: Career and professional growth Competitive salary Friendly and highly professional teams Big and comfortable office, own parking area, restaurants nearby Medical insurance coverage for employees (Сovid-19included), plus anoption for family insurance coverage atacorporate rate Paid 12sick leaves and all holidays Paid 18working vacation days English/German language courses Ability towork remotely (weprovide all equipment)
