Senior iOS Developer / Bird in LUN

Bird is an iOS application for renting apartments in Kyiv, London, as well as in Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Odesa. Our startup was launched in December 2018, and during that time has gained more than 600,000 downloads in the AppStore, received 28k ratings with an average of 4.9/5, won 2 Red Dot Design Awards and #1 Product of the Day on Product Hunt. We are looking for a Senior iOS- developer who will join the Bird team in Kyiv. Together we will build the future of renting apartments: a personal AI-assistant that will take over all the stress of searching for an apartment and find the perfect match. What we will do together:- create a revolutionary AI-assistant for renting apartmentsdevelop two versions of the application: Ukrainian (bird) and European ( birb)- painstakingly refine the app so that all its elements are "so good you'll want to lick them" (c)- add lav-details that exceed the user's expectations implement experimental wow-features related c AI/AR/ ML and specially sharpened for the Apple ecosystem (iPad, Apple Watch) - analyze and improve the user interface - design and develop the application architecture - modernize the code base to improve productivity and ease of development About you: - you have a higher technical education - you have experience in developing iOS applications on Swift in a product company - you understand the difference between weak & unowned - you know and understand design patterns in programming - you have experience with UIKit and AutoLayout and animation in the interface - you understand the principles of working with the network (RESTful API) - you know Apple guidelines and you love iPhone - you can independently prioritize tasks without daily control - you quickly adapt to changes in the project and are open to experiments at work in order to find the best solutions - you are passionate about AI products and the latest technologies - you live in Kyiv It will be a plus: - experience working with maps: Mapbox (or similar )- experience working in a startup - experience as a designer - experience playing in Heroes III Each LUN-mate has access to: - paid vacation (22 working days per year) - all sick days are paid to return to work with full strength - paid sabbatical after 6- th anniversary of work at LUN and every next three years - team building with the team - corporate library - vaccinations for lun-mates upon request and their +1, which we regularly organize in the office - 1:1 with People Partner - necessary equipment for work About internal culture LUN:- we do not have micro-management and time trackers - trust in the team first of all - we value work-life balance, we work without strict deadlines and overtime - we work in small teams, where everyone has an influence on technology and the product without excessive bureaucracy - we like iterative approach - we automate routine processes in order to increase the space for creativity - every six months we conduct a performance review If our vacancy resonated with you - we are waiting for your resume :)
