Role Overview:

As a Senior IFRS Reporting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our financial team, ensuring accurate and efficient financial reporting, particularly within our data center and Cryptomining business segments. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements from scratch for new subsidiary companies, ensuring compliance with IFRS and IAS standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes.

      Responsibilities:

      Financial Statement Preparation and IFRS Reporting:

• Prepare financial statements from scratch for new subsidiary companies.
• Ensure compliance with specific accounting standards and regulatory requirements relevant to the Crypto and Data Centre industries.
• Prepare management reports, providing key insights and analysis for decision-making

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes and increase efficiency and accuracy.

   

      Accounting/Budgeting and FP&A Process:

• Lead the development and execution of the company's financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Maintain close liaison with other functions and stakeholders to ensure process efficiency.
• Take the lead role in month-end closing activities and contribute to financial and management reporting.
• Oversee cash management and treasury, including preparation and execution of AP and AR, payroll, and budgets.
• Maintain the general ledger, prepared tax returns, and assisted with audit preparations.

• Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures.

   

     Essential Requirements:

• Advanced English
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 3+ years of experience in Finance/Controlling & Reporting, preferably in an international IT/Big4 company
• Financial acumen and excellent analytical skills
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (preferably Xero)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Leadership skills and team player mindset.

   

     DesirableRequirements:

• 1+ years’ experience with Crypto accounting
• Fluency in German
• Master’s degree in Finance
• Knowledge of Russian and/or Ukrainian

• Experience working for Big 4 companies.

   

     FS Preparation and IFRS Reporting Skills:

• In-depth understanding of IFRS and IAS
• ACCA/DipIFR/CPA Certifications
• Experience in preparing financial statements from scratch
