Senior Golang Developer in SourceTER

Our client is an innovative startup based in Israel, focused on developing a new platform
designed to handle large volumes of data streaming. As they continue to expand their
back-end team, they are looking for a skilled Golang developer to join their ranks.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Senior Golang Developer, you will be a key member of the
back-end team, responsible for the end-to-end development and implementation of the
new platform features. You will work on creating robust and efficient data streaming
solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and
performance. Your ability to work independently with minimal supervision will be crucial in
driving the project forward.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable
applications using Go
• Implement data streaming solutions utilizing Kafka
• Collaborate with the project stakeholders to deliver high-quality software
• Ensure best practices in code quality and testing
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Requirements:
• At least 4 years of experience working with Go and Kafka.
• Proficiency with Postgres, Kubernetes (K8s), and Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work overtime hours during the first 2-3 months
• Ability to adjust working hours close to the Central European time

Nice to have:
• Experience with Java.
• Familiarity with Nats.
