Senior Go Engineer (Fraud Prevention System) RozetkaPay in EVO

About the project: RozetkaPay is a payment service that provides convenient, fast and reliable payment services both online and offline, and makes the purchase process simple and safe. RozetkaPay is part of the EVO-Rozetka group of companies. The payment service was created on the basis of the most famous marketplaces in the country, which are used by millions of Ukrainians. Our services are already used by Rozetka, Prom, Vchasno, Bigl, Shafa, HelpVolunteer, Vodafone, Robota.ua, Yakaboo and others. Why the vacancy was opened: We plan to expand the functionality of the EVO Fintech financial solution , to improve the purchase process on our sites and make it more secure. Therefore, we single out a team that will develop a new product: Fraud Prevention System. Technological stack: Golang1.21+, sqlc/gorm, temporal, gin, fx, grpc/buff, cgo; Postgresql, TimeScaleDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka; GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI, Argo CD, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Kibana, Grafana; any technology that the team deems necessary to use. Quality and flexibility are very important to us, so we use: a microservice approach to development; a mandatory code rev stage coverage with tests and metrics; compliance with code quality standards; support and responsibility for functionality after implementation of the working environment; mutual respect and high-quality open communication. Important for this role: 5+ years of software development experience; 2+ years of using Golang; competitive programming experience in any language — an important understanding of what the approaches are and why this is needed as a whole; experience in using any SQL and NoSQL solutions, and understanding the reasons for using each in a specific case (for example, why Postgres instead of MongoDB, or why Postgres instead of Cassandra); experience in profiling applications, using metrics + experience in troubleshooting " performance bottleneck"; confident analytical abilities - it will not be easy to write down features, but to think through the functionality, starting from informal requirements, to choose the most appropriate solution and implement it; the ability to interact in a team - it is not easy to be an abstract "team player", but the real ability (experience) to find a compromise between controversial issues always be open to discussion. Tasks: Development and further support of system components that implement and provide the following functionality: integration with external sources of data on sanction lists, public persons, etc.; integration with external anti-fraud services; storage of sensitive documents and files within the company's automation systems; checks of payers and recipients, of counterparties at the stages of primary and regular finmon verification and at the limits of the transfer life cycle; control of limits, turnover of payers and recipients; automation of processes for determining and controlling indicators of suspicious operations and risk levels of the company's products.
