Our customer is a French energy company dedicated to developing renewable energies. Committed to combating global warming, the company is building a sustainable energy model.

Founded in 2008 by experienced renewable energy professionals, the company has developed over 400 MW of authorized wind projects within a few years and has a portfolio of 200 MW under development for its own account. With a team of more than 50 people, the company manages and develops over 40 renewable energy projects.

Experiencing significant growth, the company is expanding into new markets and has initiated a broad diversification program. PROJECT

The project focuses on building web and mobile applications for a green energy community, serving as a solution to support collective self-consumption by connecting customers, suppliers, and managers.

We are seeking a passionate full-stack developer highly skilled in Node.js and React to join our project team. You will play a crucial role in achieving the company’s mission: to create the very first intelligent software dedicated to energy sharing for a solar park in Besançon.

Tech Stack: Node.js, React, Next.js, React Native, MongoDB, Azure

WE PROVIDE YOU WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCITING CHALLENGES

• End-to-end product development: new features, architecture design, and improvements
• High focus on the solution’s back-end in Node.js, including APIs to fetch data from databases (MongoDB) and integrations with third-party systems
• Contribute to the solution’s front-end (web and mobile)
• Participate in creating the technical vision of the solution
• Actively participate in the team’s Agile methodology (SCRUM)
• Identify areas for process improvement, propose and implement solutions, and automate processes
• Cooperate with the Product Owner and distributed development team
• Mentor interns and junior team members

WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in computer science or a comparable field of study
• 6+ years of JavaScript experience
• 3+ years of Node.js experience
• Experience with TypeScript and NestJS
• API development based on REST, WebSockets, or RPC
• Experience with roles and permissions-based access control via OIDC/OAuth or similar
• Experience with React, especially Next.js
• Experience working with MongoDB
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels
• Action and quality-oriented
• English: upper-intermediate to advanced
