Vilmate is looking for Senior Full-Stack Node.js/React developer to participate in a US project that uses AI to allow content creators to easily insert popular brands into video content after processing.

Vilmate ( careers.vilmate.com ) is a Ukrainian highly professional team of over 120 developers, QA and DevOps engineers, designers and managers. We have been supplying custom software to North American and Western European clients since 2012 and have a strong track record in both web and mobile development.

About the client:
Our client is the first branded product placement platform that uses artificial intelligence to embed photorealistic images into existing video content. This gives creators new monetization opportunities and a much more scalable and automated way for brands to acquire sponsorship opportunities.

About the project:

This is a very complex and sophisticated product both from the point of view of business logic and from the technical point of view. We need a specialist with extensive experience and understanding of how modern web applications work. You should be very well versed in the field of system design and architecture of distributed systems. You must be focused on the end result. You must be willing to spend time to deeply understand the needs of the business and how the system should work properly. And last but not least, you must have a startup-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop the back-end part of the application (mostly) and the front-end part using Node.js, React and other technologies as needed.
• Cooperate with developers and project manager.
• Write clean, scalable and maintainable code.
• Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and identify program bottlenecks.
• Ensure that the application meets the highest standards of quality and performance.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of successful software development experience.
• Knowledge of the architecture of distributed systems.
• Excellent command of TypeScript .
• High level of knowledge of Node.js .
• Experience with NestJS .
• Experience with React .
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS + ORM .
• Experience with AWS (S3, ECS, EC2) .
• Experience with Docker .
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of the English language at the Upper-Intermediate level or better.

Good to have:

• High level of knowledge of Next.js .
• Experience with tRPC (React-query) and TailwindCSS .
• Experience with Zod schema validation and declaration library.
• Experience with such Amazon services as SQS, Mediaconvert, Rekognition and EventBridge .
• Experience with Prisma ORM .
• DegreeBachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field.
