Job overview:

The client has two web-sites (the main theme is boxing) that should be reworked and consolidated (from a back end technology perspective).

The web-sites are not deep in terms of number of pages or very complicated controls.

One of the web-sites is based on PHP (Laravel) and the customer would like to convert it to React.

There are also two other features:

1. Video delivery — this is already managed, so it just needs to be wrapped in a div/iframe.
2. Forum — this is also already managed — the client wants to use the same forum (which is an off-the-shelf product) that they are already using — no migration of existing posts is required.

The customer is based in Florida. So the working hours will be shifted to the evening.

The position is for contractors with short-term involvement (preliminary 6-10 weeks, with a possibility of prolongation).
A quick start on the project is expected.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack developer;
• Hands-on experience with React/Next ;
• Experience with MUI;
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS;
• Knowledge of Strapi is a big plus;
• Readiness to work and interact face to face with the customer (real-time coding with screen sharing);
• Speaking Ukrainian/Russian is a big plus (some team members are from Ukraine).

English level: Upper-Intermediate

Responsibilities:

• Rework and consolidate (from the back end perspective) the customer’s web-sites.
• Upgrade one of the web-site (move from PHP (Laravel) to React). Make it modern and user-friendly.
• Make the customer`s web-sites consistent.
• Closely cooperate with management and other team members.
