Client: A waste management company looking for a skilled Full Stack developer (Java) with API integration skills to extend members of an existing development team.

Project Duration: 3-4 months, further possible extension.

Location: Ukraine/Poland.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java architectural skills, including design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL DB.
• Experience with SpringBoot.
• Working experience with Node.js.
• Working experience with AWS (ECS FArgate and API Gateway).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed cloud-based environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• At least Intermediate English level.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake decoupling analysis to identify decoupling patterns, and provide recommendations based on AWS general best practices.
• Prioritize microservices candidates and build microservices serving the front-end and back-end functionality of the application.
• Review the security requirements and plan implementation of the right security controls for the minimal variable product (MVP) build-out.
• Create a threat model for the MVP application.
• Provide documented prescriptive guidance on serverless platform design (including in relation to AWS Lambda (Lambda), Amazon API Gateway (API Gateway), Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), and AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK), and event-driven architecture.
• Build a secure and automated serverless platform infrastructure in the Customer’s non-production environment for the deployment of microservices, decomposed and distributed databases.
• Microservices application programming interface (API) development:
  
  • Develop microservices APIs prioritized by Customer;
  • Automate microservices deployment using the CI/CD pipeline;
  • Automate microservices build, test, and deploy states in the CI/CD pipeline.
