About our product

Our product is a financial system designed for early-stage businesses. It provides business owners and executives with access to all their financial data, essential financial reports following accounting standards, and timely analyses for informed decision-making.

The system is currently built using Google Sheets and an SQL database, with third-party data sources manually integrated. Our finance team handles the creation of these systems, offers guidance, and provides recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining the frontend and backend of our financial systems
• Creating and supporting automatic aggregation of the data from different data sources into one system (e.g., Stripe, Gusto, Salesforce, Hubspot, Quickbooks)
• Developing a cabinet for users, adding more features, and supporting existing functionality
• Developing custom integrations with customers’ systems
• Designing test strategies and creating appropriate test harnesses
• Collaborating closely with the R&D team to architect and develop the best technical design and approach
• Selecting and evaluating technologies for use in specific projects in terms of financial and time costs
• Estimating the duration and complexity of projects
• Planning and constructing development processes
• Ensuring the pace and quality of development at the highest level possible
• Providing expert proposals for architecture or specific technical solutions
• Managing technical risks on projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Proficiency in both frontend and backend development
• Knowledge of: TypeScript, Node.js (Nest.js), React/Angular
• Knowledge of the following databases: SQL, MongoDB
• AWS knowledge
• Experience in integration development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• English at B2/C1 level
• Experience in enhancing system and infrastructure security
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proactivity in preparing ideas for product development

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of one of the following languages: C#, Java, Go, Python
• Experience in the finance sector
• Experience in development integrations with accounting platforms, CRMs, HRIS, payment systems
• Experience in working with ML models
• Early-stage startup experience
• Experience with infrastructure setup

Reporting to the Head of the R&D Team.
