Senior Frontend Developer (React) in Carma

In this role, you will: • Design and build a highly scalable web application with a backend that can handle 10k - 100k users initially • Deliver across the full software development cycle including coding, testing, implementation, and support • You will need to support building a production-level front-end design and will be supporting UX/UI designers and front-end engineers • Collaborate with product team stakeholders in the recommendation of enhancements to improve user experience • Help define and communicate technical and design requirements • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues at the code and UI layers • Participate with internal departments in requirements gathering, analysis, and specification, providing technical expertise and recommendations • Provide training, help, and support to other team members • Develop internal processes to assist the fast-growing team • Communicate with engineering teams throughout the organization to build world class products Skills required: • Proficiency with React.js / Redux / Other State manager, ECMAScript 6 (5+ years) • Typescript / styled-components / Other preprocessor; Jest, NPM (3+ years) • Solid experience in HTML/JavaScript/CSS in production development (5+ years) • Good understanding of OOP • Software design skills, design patterns • Familiarity with CI/CD, code versioning, and SDLC processes • Maintain code to ensure the product is of the highest quality • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON • Experience with integrating third-party libraries and APIs • Ability to write well-documented, clean codeBenefits and perks:• Highly competitive salary based on your skills and experience• Year-end performance bonuses• 22 days of annual paid vacation days and 5 sick leave days• Long-term employment opportunity with significant potential for salary growth• Friendly, close-knit atmosphere working with experienced software engineers andtechnical project managers• Ability to make an outsized impact and get in on the ground floor of an explosivegrowth company, with high potential for promotion if successful in role
