Senior FrontEnd Developer in UserWay

UserWay is looking for a talented Front-End Web Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing responsive web applications and will play a key role in building accessibility solutions for the entire web world.

Technical Requirements:

-5+years of experience in web technologies, with a strong focus on high-performance or high-traffic websites or applications.

-Strong experience with vanilla JavaScript ES6+ and a deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals.

-Extensive experience in writing adaptive and responsive UI applications for desktop and mobile.

-Knowledge of API design, event handling in the browser, and modern asynchronous programming, including experience building or integrating with APIs and working with asynchronous data flows.

-Experience with TypeScript, as well as JavaScript ecosystem tooling such as liters/formatters/bundlers (ESlint/Prettier/webpack).

-Strong understanding of web fundamentals and knowledge of DOM.

-Ability to write code with accessibility in mind and a commitment to creating an inclusive user experience.

As a plus:

-Knowledge of React or Angular frameworks and libraries, as well as other popular front-end frameworks.

-Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and prior experience with accessibility evaluation tools (Axe, Wave).

-Prior experience with manual accessibility testing of websites, mobile apps, and digital products using assistive technologies such as screen readers (e.g. JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).

Responsibilities:

-Lead a FrontEnd team

-Develop responsive web applications and work collaboratively with the agile team to drive user story analysis.

-Write high-quality code, conduct code reviews, and continuously refactor code to ensure performance and scalability.

-Bring a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement, and challenge the status quo to implement creative solutions.

-Embrace and adopt best practices and high standards of quality, while maintaining an understanding of new and emerging web technologies and frameworks.

-Work closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver a high-quality product that meets business requirements and user needs.
