We are looking for a high-performance Front-End Web Developer to join our US-based Client’s team — the World’s Largest Photo Booth Manufacturer. The company has a global presence with over 10,000 photo booths deployed worldwide, serving renowned entertainment brands.
Project — the development of server-side solutions for network of photo booths. The engineer will collaborate with product applications engineers and backend engineers to build cloud infrastructure, interfaces, and endpoints that enable responsive web applications. The team will also work on database and data pipeline design to support efficient reporting and various internal and external-facing web applications.
Must have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in developing software
JavaScript and/or Typescript, familiarity with Javascript Framework such as Vue.js
Engineering experience using Node.js
UI/UX development experience for web applications suited for various browsers on mobile and desktop
Experience with source control (Git or similar)
Experience with detailed work management tools (Jira or similar) — organizational skills are critical
Deployment of solutions in cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar)
Advanced English
Nice to have:
Development experience with image manipulation, e-commerce, payment processing
Serverless/lambda infrastructure development, event-based protocols
Infrastructure as code (eg — Cloudformation)
Integrating with third party vendors
Distributed systems / micro-service architectures
Responsibilities:
Design, code, test, debug, deploy UI/UX for various web applications that support our photo booth ecosystem
Work with creative and product development teams to build innovative products such as:
a) The Back Office, our home-grown tool that enables day-to-day management of thousands of photo booths across the globe
b) oobe (the “out of booth experience”), a product that brings fresh, personalized photo-driven products to photo booth customers on their phones
c) smileContent+, our growing ecosystem of content creation and deployment across our photo booth network
Build new features and improvements of existing features
Regression testing for bugs and performance improvement
Coordinate deployments with back-end and product applications teams
Optimize our existing products to make the best possible user experience
Work with customer support to analyze and provide timely solutions for web-related escalated support issues
