Senior Embedded Engineer (Ardupilot) Kyiv Skyeton is an aviation company specializing in the development and production of unmanned aircraft. We have our own navigation, detection and control systems, and have been working in the aviation industry since 2006. In particular, since 2014, we have been actively developing our own unmanned aircraft-type systems. Our goal is to develop highly automated drones that can continuously perform complex tasks in hard-to-reach and remote locations. We pay special attention to flight duration and reliability. Among the key parameters of our systems: Flight duration: from 18 to 28 hours. Communication: the possibility of providing communication at a distance of up to 120 km. Maximum flight distance: up to 2500 km. Cruise speed of the plane: 120 km/h, maximum speed — 180 km/h. We are looking for a Senior Embedded Engineer (Ardupilot) to join the RnD team and work on the improvement of the serial product, as well as join the bottom-line development. We work in the Kyiv office on a permanent basis (Vasylkivska). Experience is important for the position: Development experience under ArduPilot; Experience in writing and debugging C/C++ programs in Keil, IAR environments; Experience with the ARM Cortex-M architecture; Knowledge of the MavLink protocol; Experience with standard interfaces (I2S, I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, RS-485i, USB, Ethernet, etc.) is desirable. Main tasks: Creation of autopilot software on ArduPilot; Software debugging; Version control; Interaction with HW and SW engineers to achieve project goals.
