The System Department makes devices smart, turning them into a full-fledged IoT. They created and develop OS Malevich (a modular RTOS for various hardware platforms) and cloud service Ajax Cloud (Java 20 / Kotlin, AWS, Akka, NATS, Kafka, Mongo, MySQL). Applications for iOS (Objective-C, Swift), Android (Java, Kotlin), Windows/macOS (Python / C++, QT, QML) have been developed for system management, maintenance and monitoring by users, installers and engineers of security companies. The Ajax line includes control centers with its own RTOS (OS Malevich), video surveillance, motion sensors, opening, flood protection and fire sensors, street and home sirens, alarm button with device control function, automation devices. Ajax Systems has many proprietary technologies: Jeweler and Wings radio protocols, LISA algorithms, SmartDetect, HazeFlow, JetSparrow technology, and also owns 38 patents for inventions, designs, etc. We are looking for a new player in the System Department who will shape the future of security technologies. Requirements :- experience in the development of commercial IoT products from 2 years; - experience in writing software under FreeRTOS, TIrtos, etc or under baremetal; experience in working with STM32 processors; - excellent knowledge of embedded coding techniques, interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART) and subsystems ;- experience working with the ARM Cortex architecture;- solid knowledge of the C programming language;- understanding of operating systems: programming experience in embedded Linux or similar embedded operating systems (understanding the concepts of threads, tasks, experience with Real-time operating systems is important to us);- experience in setting up and validating complex embedded systems and working with the stack protocol. It will be a plus: - experience in programming RF modules and developing wireless solutions for low energy consumption; - knowledge of scripting languages ​​(Python, Bash), multitasking, the ability to efficiently and quickly switch between different projects; - basics electronics: our Embedded engineers use oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and multimeters Responsibilities: - active participation in the full cycle of software development for embedded: design, implementation, code review, documentation, testing and validation; - desire and persistence to find the real source of the problem, that came both from users and from the QA team. Cooperation with electrical engineers to check new equipment from the point of view of the software team; - modernization of the framework for new devices, participation in Malevich OS releases; - work with high technical requirements for research and development of new functionality ;- participation in making design decisions regarding the development of high-performance and nadiother embedded systems; - creation of modular and functional tests. training; - a set of the Ajax security system (participation in the beta test project - receiving and testing new gadgets before their release).
