Senior economist-analyst/economist-analyst* in Nacionalniy bank Ukrayini

Functional tasks:

• Creation of tools for quantitative assessment of non-bank financial service providers (EWS, SREP)
• Assessment of risks inherent in the activities of non-bank financial service providers services, taking into account the principle of proportionality and using a risk-oriented approach;
• Analysis of the non-banking financial sector of Ukraine based on the data of financial, statistical, regulatory reporting of the objects of supervision, the results of the early response system and the results of the assessment of business models, as well as on the basis of information from other sources;
• Participation in the development and improvement of statistical reporting on the supervision of non-bank financial providers services;
• Preparation of analytical materials and reports on the activities of non-bank providers of financial services;
• Participation in the development of rules, testing indicators, implementation of stress testing elements;
• Participation in the development of technical tasks for the creation of supervisory reports on objects of supervision;
• Participation in the development and maintenance of data quality control algorithms.

• From 3 years of professional experience as an analyst in the field of finance, IT, audit, consulting;
• Higher education (master's degree or specialist) in the field of economics, mathematics, IT, finance, management;
• Experience with statistical reporting for the National Bank of Ukraine will be an advantage
• Knowledge of legislation on accounting, financial reporting and reporting for of the National Bank of Ukraine (Resolutions 120 and 123 of the NBU);
• Knowledge in the field of financial analysis, including analysis of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, solvency assessment, stress testing, risk management;
• Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, etc.), additional courses or certificates (SQL, Power BI, Python, R, etc.) is an advantage;
• Skills in working with MS Office programs (Excel - at the level of a confident user: Power Query, pivot tables, VBA), knowledge of BI - systems, XML, JSON;
• Participation in projects on optimization of business processes, data analysis, development and implementation of software complexes;
• Knowledge of the English language at the B1 level or higher;
• Analytical abilities, objectivediscipline, attention to details, teamwork for the result.
