AsaSenior Azure Platform Engineer you will beresponsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing the Azure Cloud Data Platform and Infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with team members toautomate operations, manage access tothe data platform, and define technical deployment activities inalignment with architectural requirements and best practices. They also use advanced machine learning and artificial intelligence tooptimize their processes Your mission Collaborate with team members toautomate and optimize infrastructure operations, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and adherence toDevOps principles. Creating automated Infrastructure and App deployments for supported Products using Azure DevOps Design, implement, and maintain secure access controls and governance policies for the Common Data Platform, including permissions and access management for Azure Active Directory (AAD) groups. Work closely with architecture teams todefine technical deployment activities, ensuring alignment with platform requirements, security standards, and scalability considerations. Identify and implement automation opportunities for infrastructure deployment, release processes, and operational tasks using Infrastructure asCode (IaC) methodologies. Develop and maintain core infrastructure DevOps deployments and scripts using YAML, PowerShell, and other scripting languages asneeded. Configure and manage platform environments and associated settings tomeet generational capabilities, project requirements, and performance optimization goals. Provide third-line operational infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for project and environment-based issues, ensuring timely resolution. Identify and address historical technical debt byowning and managing infrastructure items inthe backlog, implementing sustainable solutions and adhering tobest practices. Keep infrastructure-related documentation uptodate with relevant information, documentation, and diagrams. Manage platform access and onboarding operations, including providing initial support, guidance, and training onaccessing the platform invarious environments. Handle service principal’s secrets management, including creating, updating, and rotating SPNs asneeded, following security best practices. Requirements Proven experience inmanaging and maintaining cloud infrastructure, particularly inAzure environments, with astrong emphasis onsecurity, scalability, and high availability. Hands-on experience inAzure DevOps, PaaS, and IaaS Platform Architecture, Azure Platform Security. Expert knowledge ofAzure Monitoring, Dashboarding and Alerting. Hands -on experience with Deploying Apps using AKS and Azure app services. Skilled inAzure Infrastructure (VM, AKS, etc..), AADManagement, Azure Networking Services (Front Door, WAF, App Gateway, etc.) Strong proficiency inautomation tools, scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, YAML), and Infrastructure asCode (IaC) practices (e.g. ARMtemplates). Solid understanding ofAzure Active Directory (AAD), identity and access management (IAM), and access management best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability totroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills with English language proficiency. Ability towork effectively inateam environment, provide training, and document processes. Familiarity with cloud security best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS) isdesirable. Nice tohave Hands-on experience with Terraform. Experience with basic Python and DevOps practices and methodologies (e.g., CI/CDpipelines, containerization, Kubernetes) isaplus.
