Our client is a Ukrainian IT company that has been working on creating and improving its own product for about 7 years! The team specializes in developing mobile applications and CRM systems for businesses in the HoReCa and Retail sectors. The company has over 1 million users using their mobile apps and 50 business clients in 3 countries around the world. The goal is to create a platform with the mission: “To inspire businesses to improve their relationships with consumers.”
The company is looking for Senior DevOps to join team:- 5+ years of relevant DevOps experience;
- hands-on experience with DigitalOcean: droplets, VPC, floating IPs, Spaces, DOKS; (focusing on process building rather than monitoring)
- basic experience with AWS: IAM, S3, SES;
- hands-on Kubernetes experience: good grasp of overall architecture, writing manifests from scratch, installing and upgrading Helm charts, writing charts is a plus;
- understanding DevOps principles: automation over manual work, IaaC, GitOps;
- good grasp of Git (branches, merging, resolving conflicts), experience with Git forges like GitLab (a plus);
- practical experience with CI/CD, GitLab CI (.gitlab-ci.yml, self-hosted runners) is a plus;
- good understanding of TCP/IP networks, routing/NAT, VPN, practical experience with deploying OpenVPN is a plus;
- good practical knowledge of Python and Bash;
- experience with RDBMS, preferably PostgreSQL;
- experience with MongoDB or other noSQL databases;
- experience with Redis/Memcached;
- experience with centralized logging/monitoring, Grafana and Grafana Loki is a plus;
- experience with Prometheus (node exporter, AlertManager), blackbox exporter and federation are a plus;
- solid understanding of Terraform and Ansible, hands-on experience with Terraform+Terragrunt and Ansible is a plus;
- experience writing Dockerfiles — best practices, multi-stage builds, optimal layers;
- understanding of Docker Compose, practical experience is a plus;
- solid skills with Debian/Ubuntu Linux.
