Our client is a leading global Financial markets data provider runs a number of change programs to deliver of high-quality software that connects Financial Markets across the globe in a real-time, high frequency and low-latency data management chain.  The projects are technically challenging in a very engaging environment making the most of cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

The role involves migrating applications and Lambda functions to Kubernetes. The selected DevOps engineer will be integrated into the existing team, bringing their expertise to ensure seamless delivery. Their responsibilities will include designing and implementing scalable Kubernetes solutions, optimizing application performance, and enhancing the deployment pipeline. They will collaborate closely with developers and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, automate processes, and ensure best practices are followed. This integration aims to enhance the overall efficiency and reliability of our infrastructure, supporting the successful execution of our delivery goals.

Skills

Must have

5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a track record of working on complex, high-availability systems.

Strong hands-on experience designing, building, and automating infrastructure and app deployments in AWS and Azure.

Proficiency in Kubernetes toolchains.

Proficiency in Lambda functions.

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
