Project: the leader of the fastest-growing segment of online entertainment — iGaming (USA)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Systems Engineering, or related role.
• Be an expert in running services in production environments
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability on the infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of infrastructure, services and applications.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Helm).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack). Preferably Ansible
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (BitBucket, SonarQube, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with GCP cloud platform.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with service mesh architectures and tools (Istio, Linkerd).
• Familiarity with on-prem virtualization platforms (vSphere, Cloud Director)
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Linux — In depth knowledge of this ideally within On-premises environment.
• Experience with databases / datastores.
• Knowledge of security best practices and tools.
• Experience working with incident management processes or tools (Opsgenie, JIRA ServiceDesk)
• Preferred certifications in cloud technologies (ex: Google Professional DevOps Engineer).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, set up, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
• Automate code integration, testing, building, and deployment processes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for infrastructure management
• Implement monitoring solutions for system performance and application health.
• Analyze metrics and logs to identify and solve potential issues.
• Integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle
• Provide rapid response to technical issues in development and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to code, infrastructure, and deployment.
• Ensure proper branch and release management practices.
• Implement and manage containerized environments
• Create and maintain documentation for system configuration, deployment procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and other IT staff.
