Senior DevOps Engineer with Azure (Certificate: AZ-400) in Customertimes

Customertimes is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with Certificate: AZ-400 to join our team.

About the project
The project involves supporting our client, a former part of a multinational conglomerate
company that operates in the pharmaceutical, medical devices, and consumer health sector, in
rebuilding and establishing its services as an independent company within the healthcare and
personal care product domain.
The tasks primarily revolve around reconstructing services that were previously maintained by
the conglomerate, as well as developing new services from scratch. Specifically, the focus is on
areas such as financial reporting and customer data management on a global scale. The
selected candidate will initially work as a lone contributor, responsible for either enhancing
existing systems or proposing and implementing new solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Continuously optimize and enhance CI/CD processes for improved performance and
scalability.
• Manage project dependencies and coordinate tasks for seamless execution.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve project
objectives.
• Provide training and support for Gerrit usage, covering basic and advanced features.
• Configure and maintain Gerrit for streamlined code review and collaboration.
• Manage applications on the OpenShift platform.
• Configure and monitor network security components, including NSGs, resource groups,
and firewalls.
• Employ Terraform for efficient infrastructure provisioning.
• Expertly use Helm charts for containerized application management.
• Utilize Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for securing connections.
• Implement defensive programming and IT security practices for enhanced software
security.
• Manage dependency and build systems while collaborating with source code
repositories.
• Oversee deployment processes, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
• Support and operate highly available systems, monitoring both servers and clients.
• Maintain inline and pipeline documentation.
• Write unit tests, perform debugging, and handle code integration and building.
• Set up integration environments, CI/CD pipelines, data processing, and testing pipelines.
• Participate in the initiative definition process and review DevOps activities for feedback.
• Write infrastructure code and automation scripts to support development.
• Provide maintenance, support, and monitoring for distributed environments.

Requirements:
• Proficiency (at least 4 years) in Azure services for cloud-based solutions and
infrastructure improvement
• Solid understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS — Azure, experience with
configuration, setting up, and maintenance, Data Pipeline, Big Data;
• Experience in maintaining /managing infrastructure;
• Certifications: AZ-400: Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, Infracture cost optimisation, Bicep,
PowerShell
• Experience managing applications in Amazon web services and familiarity with all of
their core, compute, networking, storage, security, compliance, serverless, and
analytics;
• Work experience with containerization technologies (Docker, EKS, ECS);
• Robust skills with CI/CD tools;
• Experience in the automated unit, integration, and end-end testing;
• Ability to build systems that balance scalability, availability, and latency while solving
different problems;
• Knowledge of various monitoring tools;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Nice to have Unity Cloud DevOps
