Senior DevOps Engineer in Waverley Software

Waverley Software is looking for a DevOps Engineer who brings a diverse background of skills and experiences and will hit the ground running. Success in this position stems from being an independent self-starter who enjoys building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems
• Implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation
• Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems
• Ensure systems are highly available, scalable, and self-healing
• Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes
• Operate the platform within security and privacy guidelines
  
   

Requirements:
 

• At least 5 years of DevOps experience
• Expertise in AWS 
• Experience with the following AWS services: Kinesis, Athena, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation
• Practical experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience in Bash or Python scripting
• Deep understanding of Networking
• CI/CD process understanding and experience
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Self-managed team player
• English and Ukrainian written and verbal communication skills sufficient for day-to-day technical communications
   

Will be a plus: 

• AWS Professional certificate
• Experience with Golang
