Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Client — startup funded and contracted by the DoD and sponsored to develop several Prototype Projects to be rolled out to Agencies and Entities in the Govt and the Critical Infrastructure sectors. Some of these projects involve among others creating a global network of GPU and High Compute CPU enabled data centers globally to be used for both military (Missile Defense) and Civilian usage (Meta verse, Smart Cities, 6G enabled tools and applications), and supporting AI and ML workloads for Critical Infrastructure sector.
HQ — USA, New-York.
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for setting up the CI/CD and deployment infrastructure through GitOps and other technologies. Also, tasks will be to create Infrastructure as Code repositories, maintain Security Best Practices for the pipeline including AppSec and IAC security, and implement zero trust best practices in the cloud environment.

Requirements:

• 7 — 10 years of progressive experience in the DevOps field
• Experience in deploying CI/CD pipelines from scratch
• Familiar with DevSecOps best practices
• Fluency in working with Kubernetes environments, logging, troubleshooting, and scripting in containerized environments
• Highly conversant with GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, Vagrant, KVM concepts, and hands-on experience
  
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Good to have:

• Kubernetes Administrator Certification
• Computer Science education background

Responsibilities:

• Worked with the stack as GitOps, Bash Scripts, Linux, Cloud (Oracle, Azure, AWS), Terraform and other HashiCorp Technologies (Consul, Packers) etc.
