Senior Data Scientist with Team Lead experience in Dataforest

Dataforest is Looking for a Senior Data Scientist with Team Lead experience to join an interesting software development project in the field of Cybersecurity. Our US client's platform offers Identity Insights drives real-time, multi-contextual digital forensics to protect new account opening workflows and expose fake accounts already in a customer database.As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with product managers, CTO and other stakeholders. Define hypotheses and concepts on working with data towards providing proper solution solving business cases. You will guide the 2 data scientists and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality fraud/anomaly detection products.Skills requirements:• Previous experience as a Data Engineering Team Lead, Data or Solution Architect;• Strong management and leadership skills;• 5+ years of experience with Python;• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;• Knowledge of data algorithms and data structures is a MUST;• Experience with business analysis and project management;• Experience with ETL pipelines and Power BI;• Strong experience with Pandas, Apache Spark (pyspark), Apache Kafka;• Experience with MS Azure PaaS (Data Factory, Data lake, Databricks, Azure SQL);• Understanding of cluster computing fundamentals;• Experience in statistics (optional);• Knowledge of DS and Machine learning algorithms (optional).Key responsibilities:• Work closely with the product manager, providing data-driven solutions to business problems;• Define product data strategy and delivery roadmap;• Build analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, extracting data analytics into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition & retention;• Manage the development process and support team members;• Conduct R&D work with new technology elaborating different data processing algorithms;• Maintain high-quality coding standards within the team;• Develop and implement workflows for receiving and transforming new data sources to be used in the company;• Develop existing Data Engineering infrastructure to make it scalable and prepare it for anticipated projected future volumes;We offer:• Great networking opportunities with international clients, challenging tasks;• Building interesting projects from scratch using new technologies;• Personal and professional development opportunities;• Competitive salary fixed in USD;• Paid vacation and sick leaves, medical insurance;• Flexible work schedule;• Friendly working environment with minimal hierarchy;• Team building activities, and corporate events.Про компанію DataforestDataforest - helps companies use data to drive decisions.
