Senior Data Scientist (FinTech) in EVO

We are looking forSenior Data Scientist (FinTech) to the Risk Team. The purpose of the role is to create and maintain high-quality ML models to evaluate clients and improve the effectiveness of risk management in a complex fintech product.

Main tasks:

• Development of statistical and expert classification models.

• Building new models from scratch and gradually introducing them into production, including updating and optimizing existing solutions.

• Monitoring the performance of the models.

• Generation of ideas and proposals for the selection of models team.

• Work in a modern ML environment and dive deep into the details of models and data.

Our expectations:

• 5+ years data science background.

• Higher education in mathematics, statistics, economic cybernetics or IT.

• Deep experience with Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost/LightGBM) or R.

• Working with SQL/BigQuery, Jupyter or other data analysis environment.

• Using MLflow/DVC for model monitoring (PSI, KS, SHAP) and Git for version control.

• Development of ML models: logistic regression, decision trees, GBM for scoring.

• Feature engineering based on transactions, DPD, fraud.

• Strong mathematical and technical background, analytical thinking.

• Honest, transparent and direct communication.

• Attention to detail and willingness to dive deep into data.

• AI-friendly, ideally with implementation/process automation experience.

• Developed model interpretation/presentation skills.

• As an advantage - experience in the banking sector in the development of scoring models for loan evaluationka.
