Senior Data Scientist in Luxoft

A leading international IT company is looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist for related projects with the implementation of the development and support of the corporate platform of data and products based on it for the country's largest perfume and cosmetic chain in the luxury segment.

Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of predictive models for forecasting sales and inventory.
• Analysis of large data sets for extraction of significant insights and regularities.
• Development of algorithms to improve forecasting accuracy.
• Validation and refinement of models using statistical and machine learning methods.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Graduate degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in fields of machine learning, statistical modeling and data analysis with implemented projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages ​​such as Python or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools (eg Power BI).
• Knowledge of time series analysis and forecasting techniques.
• Knowledge of big data technologies (eg, Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft technologies for data science is an advantage.
