Senior Data Scientist in Luxoft

A leading international IT company is looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist for projects related to the implementation of the development and support of a corporate data platform and products based on it for the country's largest perfumery and cosmetics chain in the luxury segment.

Responsibilities

Development and implementation of predictive models for forecasting sales and inventory.

Analysis of large data sets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.

Development of algorithms to increase forecasting accuracy.

Testing and refinement of models using statistical and machine learning methods.

Skills

Must have

Graduate degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science or related fields.

Proven experience of 3+ years in the field of machine learning, statistical modeling and data analysis with implemented projects.

Proficiency in programming languages ​​such as Python or R.

Experience with data visualization tools (eg Power BI).

Knowledge of time series analysis and forecasting methods.

Knowledge of big data technologies (eg Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft technologies for data science is an advantage.
