AWS migration.Responsibilities:Create and improve test plans outlining test objectives, testing scope, methodologies, and timelines specific todata-related functionalities, pipelines, orsystems.Prepare basis for test automation setupEstablish, enforce, and improve data quality standards and guidelines toensure compliance and consistency across datasets.Support other team members and provide them with recommendations.Work closely with data engineers and stakeholders tounderstand project requirements, data specifications, and expectations.Proactively communicate findings, issues, and resolutions totechnical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.Design and document test cases and test scenarios tailored for data validation, ETLprocesses, data migration, and other data-related workflows.Verify the accuracy, consistency, and completeness ofdata byperforming data validation and integrity checks. Identify and rectify discrepancies oranomalies.Analyze data profiles tounderstand data structures, patterns, and anomalies for effective quality assessment.Perform various types oftesting, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing, ondata pipelines, ETLworkflows, and data transformations.Investigate and perform root cause analysis ofdata-related issues, collaborating with relevant teams todetermine underlying causes and implement effective solutions.Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices intest automation and quality assurance.Qualifications and Skills:4+years ofrelevant work experience indata analysis, quality assurance, data governance, orasimilar field ishighly desirable.Experience with automation approach. Experience automation tools.Knowledge ofdata quality frameworks, data profiling, data validation, and data cleansing techniquesFamiliarity with data governance principles and best practices.Experience indeveloping and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts specific todata quality assurance.Understanding ofdatabase systems and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.Proficiency inworking with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)Ability tocreate comprehensive documentation ofdata quality processes, standards, and issues.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with anattention todetail.Atleast anIntermediate strong level ofEnglishNice tohave:Proficiency indata analysis tools like SQL, Python, R, orsimilar languages for querying and manipulating data.Nice tohave DB, Kafka knowledgeFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
