Senior Data Engineer (SAAS, USA) Lviv, Chernivtsi, remotely We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (4+ years of experience) for a project in the field of SAAS (the client offers advanced analytical solutions for mobile operators). English — Upper-Intermediate language, experience working with microservices. Basic requirements: — 4+ years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer; —Knowledge and experience of working with Python or Java; —Experience of working with data pipelines at least on water cloud, preferably Google; — Excellent knowledge and experience of working with SQL; —Experience in creating and optimizing data models suitable for data analysts in BI tools such as Tableau; —Professional experience in creating streaming and batch pipelines; — Experience working in DBT or Dataform; —Knowledge and experience working with Apache Airflow; —Experience with Docker/Kubernetes; —Basic understanding of BigQuery and/or other data warehouse solutions such as Amazon Redshift; — Level of English — Upper-Intermediate class; — Personal qualities: customer orientation, sociability, organization, discipline, ability to work in a team. The following will be a plus: — Work experience in the telecommunications industry; —Professional IT Education (Computer Engineering, Computer Science and related fields); —Experience of working in a Scrum environment. About the client and the project: Country: USA Team: ~ 10 people (Software Engineer — 3 (1 from our company InventorSoft), Data Engineer — 5, Manager — 1, Agile Coach/ TPM — 1). The project is a unique SAAS platform that collects, analyzes and correlates large data sets and determines the best solutions with the most modern technology based on 100+ billion daily data samples collected from 10,000+ content/application providers, 800+CDN/cloud providers and over 1 billion smartphones. It gives an opportunity to help make the use of the Internet better, faster and accessible to everyone. For the project, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will help expand the SaaS platform for the optimal provision of networks and services and the increase of customers. Responsibilities on the project: —Participate in the development and support the implementation of the data platform based on Google Cloud; —Development and implementation of scalable streaming and batch conveyors; —Collaboration with engineers and data analysts to create robust data sets that can be understood and used by other company employees. Organization of work processes: — Work schedule: flexible, but it is necessary to participate in all team meetings (meetings in the evening at 18.00-19.00); —Time zone: USA; —Conducting meetings: Scrum meetings (daily, planning, demo, retro). Stages of the interview: — HR interview (30-40 minutes); — Technical interview with the client (60 minutes). —Interview with the client (30-40 minutes); Other: —Interviews in Ukrainian and English; - The execution of the technical task is not foreseen.
