Looking for a Data Engineer to work on an AI-powered platform designed to revolutionize clinical stage biotech companies. The project is dedicated to automating the process of centralizing and analyzing clinical trial data to keep patients safe, ensure rules and regulations are being followed, and bring drugs to market faster.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with Python and SQL (excluding full-stack and DBA experience).
• Current experience with Pandas or PySpark.
• Experience with Apache Snowflake and Spark
• Experience with scalable data engineering platforms, including automated pipelines, data lineage, and versioning.
• Strong data modeling skills.
• Proven ability to build data platforms from scratch.
• Ability to articulate the business impact of projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• English proficiency: C1+.
• Willingness to work LA hours (PST) and readiness for overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a customer-facing, multi-tenant, scalable data platform for the life sciences industry.
• Execute and design aspects of the data platform architecture.
• Develop automated data extraction, data transformation, clinical trial data models, issue detection algorithms, multi-tenant infrastructure, data versioning and lineage, data quality assurance, and compliance measures.
• Fix bugs and production issues.
• Provide input on the roadmap and requirements for specific tickets.
• Participate in customer calls to understand requirements.
