Senior Data Engineer @ Akamai in Akamai

Akamai is a leading developer of a distributed platform for cloud computing, security, and content delivery.

At SIA enterprise, we develop protective measures that harness Akamai's real-time cloud security intelligence. You will help us build a world-class scalable backend platform. You'll collaborate with multiple teams to build cloud cutting-edge cloud services for the SIA Data Platform.

Must have:

• Have a bachelor in computer science or equivalent work experience or a related STEM field
• Have experience in backend engineering with Scala or Java, and Python coding skills
• Demonstrate experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP or Linode
• Have worked with Kubernetes and in cloud-native environments
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in data pipelines orchestration with Airflow or Argo Workflows
• Have some skills in monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
• Big data experience (Spark, Flink) and/or stream engineering with Kafka is a plus
