The ideal сandidate will beinstrumental inshaping our data architecture, integrating diverse data sources, and ensuring that our data pipelines are scalable, robust, and timely. With akeen understanding ofmodern data stack technologies, you’ll beatthe forefront ofour efforts topower our analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives. Core Responsibilities: Design, construct, install, and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines and other infrastructure. Set the data strategy byselecting, architecting, and integrating cutting-edge database solutions. Build, optimize, and maintain ETL/ELT processes using modern tools and platforms. Ensure data integration from various sources, keeping inmind data accuracy, reliability, and timeliness. Optimize database operations for maximum performance, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving existing systems. Collaborate with data scientists, MLengineers, and other stakeholders tosupport their data infrastructure needs. Interface with other tech teams toextract, transform, and load data from awide variety ofdata sources. Implement security measures toensure data protection and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Stay updated with the latest technology trends, evaluating and implementing new systems and tools asrequired. Hard skills: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, orarelated technical field. 7+years ofexperience inadata engineering role. 7+years ofexperience with cloud warehousing platforms such asRedshift orBigQuery. 4+years experience with data orchestration platforms such asAirflow, Prefect, orDagster. 3+years ofexperience architecting and building big data solutions inthe cloud, specifically those that leverage data lakehouse technologies, with afocus onperformance optimization and partitioning. 2+years experience with atransformation workflow framework like dbt orSQLMesh. Strong knowledge and experience with data lakes, delta lakes, and data lake houses. Strong knowledge ofSQL and scripting languages (Python, Scala, Java, etc.). Strong knowledge ofdata warehousing strategies toinclude Inmon, Kimball and Data Vault. Experience with data quality, ideally using aframework such asGreat Expectations. Experience inhealthcare orbehavioral health sectors. Proven track record ofarchitecting and deploying high-scale data infrastructure.
