Skills and experience you can bring tothis role Qualifications &experience: 6+years ofintensive experience asaData Engineer orinasimilar role, with ademonstrable track record ofleading large-scale projects; Mastery inPython, SQL, Snowflake, and BigQuery; Deep understanding and practical application ofdata warehouse concepts; Extensive experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools; Experience with modern Scrum-based Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Deep understanding ofGit and its workflows; Open tocollaborating with data scientists and businesses; Understand marketing and media metrics ( i.e., what conversion rate isand how itiscalculated ). Nice tohave: Proven expertise inhandling and optimizing large-scale data; Familiarity with modern Scrum-based Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Comprehensive understanding ofdata governance principles and data quality management practices; Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with aknack for guiding and nurturing teams. Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Information Systems, orarelated discipline ispreferred. AMaster’s degree orhigher isadistinct advantage. What impact you’ll make Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance ofscalable data architectures, ensuring they align with business and technical objectives; Spearhead the creation ofsophisticated data pipelines using Python, leveraging advanced Snowflake capabilities such asData Shares, Snowpipe, Snowpark, and more; Oversee the implementation, management, and optimization ofSnowflake and BigQuery databases, ensuring top-tier performance, security, and scalability; Champion the application ofdata warehouse concepts, managing vast data across amyriad ofstorage platforms; Collaborate intensively with data scientists, product teams, and other stakeholders todefine and fulfill intricate data requirements for cross-channel budget optimization solutions; Drive initiatives for new data collection, refining existing data sources, and ensuring the highest standards ofdata accuracy and reliability; Set the gold standard for data quality, introducing cutting-edge tools and frameworks todetect and address data inconsistencies and inaccuracies; and Identify, design, and implement process improvements, focusing ondata delivery optimization, automation ofmanual processes, and infrastructure enhancements for scalability.
